THE CARLTON HOTEL IS NOW ONE-STOP-DESTINATION FOR ALL THINGS WEDDING

New York, NY (March 10, 2014) - The historic Carlton hotel, nestled in the heart of Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood, is now a one-stop-destination for all things wedding. The property’s four distinctive themed specialty suites are now offering exciting packages to suit any type of wedding festivity, from bachelor or Jack & Jill parties, to bridal showers and more. These new packages, coupled with the hotel’s in-house Caravan Stylist Studio and French Brasserie Millesime, make the Carlton hotel a natural choice for all wedding-related events.

 

The Carlton’s Speakeasy Suite comes complete with a secret door that leads into a hidden back room, acting as the ultimate Prohibition era man cave. The suites1920s décor includes a poker table, a bar, dark wood paneling and period photos of flappers and G-men. For intimate Bachelor Parties, the hotel is now offering a lively evening of Poker and Scotch tasting, complete with a spirits expert who serves a flight of liquors with chef-selected food pairings. Every guest even departs with a take-home bottle of spirits and shot class. One night package pricing: Starting at $1,599 plus tax.

 

The beautifully adorned Broadway Diva Suite can be transformed into the ideal venue to host the ultimate Bridal Shower. The suite reimagines a palatial dressing room ideal for a leading lady in a hit musical, indulgent and accented by mirrors, playbills, and over-the-top bedding. The Bridal Shower package can be tailored for up to ten women and includes a formal tea replete with mini sandwiches, scones, pastries, sparkling wine and, of course, a gift from Tiffany’s for the bride and nail party. One night package pricing: Starting at $1,599 plus tax.

 

The Broadway Diva suite can also be used as a Bridal Suite, in which the bride can get ready for her big day. The Bridal Suite package includes light refreshments for up to six people and hair and makeup for the Bride and up to two bridesmaids, by Caravan Stylist Studio. One night package pricing: Starting at $1,299 plus tax.

 

The modern-day alternative to a Bridal Shower is the coed Jack and Jill Wedding Shower. For this event, the Carlton offers two top floor penthouse suites, which can adjoin to have more than 2,000 total combined square feet.

Carlton’s Corner Pocket is outfitted with refined furniture and boasts a restored 1950s Brunswick Centennial billiards table, accented with a crystal-tiered chandelier. Some guests may enjoy cocktails at the custom-made solid mahogany bar, while others can relax at the eight-seat wrap-around luxury sofa or black leather club chair. Carlton’s New Yorker Suite features a menagerie of vintage furniture, including the custom 12-foot Chesterfield sofa in the suite’s living room a white lacquer crocodile-embossed dining table under a dazzling crystal chandelier. The Jack and Jill Wedding Shower package includes two hours of nails and makeup in the New Yorker Suite by Caravan Stylist Studio for the ladies; one hour with an in-room mixologist for the gentlemen in the Corner Pocket Suite; and a cocktail reception (open bar and hors d’oeuvres) for up to 30 people when the two suites adjoin.
