Post-Meeting Mixology and Professional Beauty Breaks Add New Appeal to Meetings in Manhattan

New York, NY (April 8, 2014) – The Carlton hotel is pleased to introduce new inspired meeting break options for companies seeking to complement work with a bit of creative fun this spring.   Situated in the heart of midtown Manhattan’s trendy NoMad neighborhood, the historic hotel is an ideal destination for company meetings and corporate events of all kinds, boasting 6,000 square feet of diversified meeting space designed by renowned architect David Rockwell.  Now, the Carlton hotel makes its meetings even more appealing with Post-Meeting Mixology and Professional Beauty Breaks services.

For companies looking to reward employees for a job well done or groups seeking an interactive respite, the Carlton is pleased to offer Post-Meeting Mixology in partnership with Millesime, the French Brasserie located at the hotel.  Groups can arrange a Post-Meeting Mixology session, which includes a private cocktail demo and one hour open bar, ranging from 10 to 100 people.  Post-Meeting Mixology is available for $45 per person and can be scheduled to follow weekday meetings ending at 4:30PM or later.

Women in business will appreciate the Carlton’s Professional Beauty Breaks option, presented in partnership with Caravan Stylist Studio, an innovative wardrobe and beauty studio located at the hotel.  To ensure ladies leave their meeting looking just as sharp as they did when they arrived, Caravan Stylist Studio offers mini-manicures, makeup touch-ups, and hairstyle refreshes that make the most of a 15-20 minute meeting break.  Businesses can choose a specific service or allow its employees to choose from all three.  Attendees will have access to Caravan Stylist Studio’s team of professionals whose services are otherwise available only to celebrities and media by appointment only. Professional Beauty Breaks services start at $10 per person.

The Carlton can accommodate meetings from 10 -100 guests.  Companies and meeting planners can choose from seven distinct meeting spaces, and the Carlton hotel’s expert team can advise on the perfect setting based on the size and scope of each event.  From the Murray Hill boardroom, which accommodates up to 14 for a small conference, to The Seville Room, a 1,750 square-foot space which can be subdivided and can accommodate up to 100 guests, the Carlton hotel offers a comprehensive variety of options.
